This forum is devoted to the exchange of information about the use of marijuana as a medicine by members of the faculty of the Harvard Medical School who have been studying marijuana for many years. The patient testimonials were submitted to Dr Lester Grinspoon in his study of the medicinal benefit of marijuana. Dr. Lester Grinspoon is Associate Professor Emeritus of Psychiatry at Harvard Medical School. Dr. Grinspoon was senior psychiatrist at the Massachusetts Mental Health Center in Boston for 40 years. Dr. Grinspoon is a fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science and the American Psychiatric Association. He was founding editor of the Annual Review of Psychiatry and the Harvard Mental Health Letter. Dr. Grinspoon was editor of the Harvard Mental Health Letter for fifteen years. Dr. Grinspoon is the author of Marihuana Reconsidered, Harvard University Press, 1971, revised edition 1977, recently republished with a new introduction. Read More... |
