The rush for medical marijuana licenses in Arizona

PHOENIX (AP) -- Arizona officials are getting ready for a pot rush. Voters approved a ballot measure legalizing medical marijuana.

Now, officials expect thousands of applications from would-be marijuana dispensaries.

But those who have high hopes of selling weed the legal way could be in for a real downer.

Only 124 legal pot shops will be approved.

State officials still haven't decided how they'll select the winning applicants.

But those who want to sell medical marijuana will have to pay up to $5,000 to apply for a license.
